I was with Pieter on tour through Kenya/Tanzania just before the big migration in September. Besides the first wildebeests, we were able to see not only the big FIVE but a total of 58 lions in just 10 days! It has been an incredible experience; we were well taken care of and are still reminiscing. We know Pieter from our very first tour through Southern Africa including SA, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Pieter served at that time as tour guide for Drifters and did an excellent job on this 4-week overland tour. As tour guide, he was solely responsible and capable to drive and repair the truck, provide the clients with all relevant technical and logistical information. He taught us in-depth knowledge about Flora, Fauna, Geology and the Moon and stars.
